As you all know there will sadly be another Lockdown starting tomorrow, Thursday 5th November. We have had confirmation that LEH, HOP and St Mary’s will all be closed and we will not be able to hold the Saturday Junior Sessions either due to only being able to meet one other person from outside your household.
We are working on the full schedule of alternate sessions for next week and will make an announcement on this shortly with full details.
For the remainder of this week we will have:
- Wednesday – Track at St Marys as usual
- Thursday – Circuits class via Zoom with Head Coach Ralph (time and Zoom details to be emailed out shortly)
- Saturday (or any time over the weekend) – Run Street Name Challenge
So what is a Run Street Name Challenge I hear you ask! The challenge is to run to various streets, looking at the first letter of the street name, to spell out a word. Looking at my example below I tried to spell out TURBO (I needed to go further afield for an O!).
But use your imagination, see if you can spell THAMES TURBO, or maybe even LOCKDOWN. Share you runs screen shots from Strava etc on our club social media pages and lets see how much fun we can have with this!
